Loenbro, an energy services and maintenance construction company founded by Paul and Jon Leach, bought 52 acres site in Cascade County near ADF International and MaltEurop and is building a new 30,000-square-foot steel pipefabrication facility.
The facility will include two overhead 10-ton cranes, 20 welding stations, 20 1-ton jib cranes, pipe prep equipment, heat treat equipment, and a support shop for storage, consumables and office space. At full occupancy the pipe fabrication facility will have about a 50 employees.
The design team includes Loenbro; Woith Engineering (civil engineering); Nelson Architects; Dick Anderson Construction (general contractor); TD&H Engineering (structural engineer); and Everson Cordeiro Engineering (mechanical & electrical).
Ultimately, Loenbro will build a new office and an equipment and maintenance shop at the site.
Staples downsized
Staples office supply store at 207 NorthWest Bypass has downsized, leaving a vacancy east of their current retail store, and the building’s owners are in active negotiations with at least a couple of tenants.
“We are not quite ready to make an announcement, I expect that is about 60 days away,” said Jon-Eric Greene, a co-owner of the building, which includes a large space to the east of Staples last occupied by Corral West. “We just became the majority owners in January and we are proactively marketing the building. We plan to renovate the facade and do some things to redevelop the area.”
The owners are in discussion with three potential tenants for the former Corral West space, Greene said.
“The tenant for the space that Staples moved from will depend on what tenant goes into the Corral West space, what the product mix will be,” he said.
Buffalo Wild Wings
Construction on the new building that will house Buffalo Wild Wings at 117 Northwest Bypass will begin soon, said Scott Keller, project manager for Dick Anderson Construction.
“As soon as the land purchase agreement is complete, we will start, and that should be any day,” Keller said.
Construction will take about four months.
